The Payments Academy 2025 theme is ‘Forging Connections: People, Process, Technology‘. This event included a variety of payment trends, payment technology, and PCI compliance topics.
HALOCK partners with Texas A&M University this year and presents on Attestation of Compliance (AOC).
How to Analyze an Attestation of Compliance (AOC)
Sometimes, it feels like a victory just to receive a long-awaiting Attestation of Compliance (AOC) from a Third-Party Service Provider (TPSP). Sadly, that’s just the first step. Now, it’s time to read and interpret whether or not that document addresses your needs. We will explain the different Attestations of Compliance and when each is applicable. Then, we will review an Attestation of Compliance for a merchant and a third-party service provider in detail. We will explain each section, how it should be completed, what organizations should be looking for—and, just as important, what to look for. Listen to our panel members discuss validating AOCs, including how to approach a TPSP if there are discrepancies in their AOC. We will end our session with a Q&A with our panel.
